I attended UW Whitewater for a year and a half before moving to Santa Barbara, California, to finish school at Brooks Institute of Photography. I graduated in 1988 with a BA in Industrial/Scientific Photography. I took my first position at Iowa State School of Veterinary Medicine in Ames. In April of 1990, I moved to Wisconsin and started my position here with the School of Medicine and Public Health.
